We are pleased to announce that one of our favourite guests soloists, baritone Alexander Dobson, is returning to perform “Sublime Music for Voice and Strings,” on Tuesday, April 15th, 7:30pm, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2350-148th St., Surrey.
Alex will lend his splendid baritone voice and artistry to some of the finest songs by Schubert, Brahms, and Fauré, as well as celebrated arias from Carmen, The Barber of Seville, and Don Pasquale.
The Strings will take star turns of their own in Rossini’s sparkling Sonata no. 3 for Strings, and Bruch’s poignant Kol Nidrei, featuring our graduating principal cellist, Bryan Lin, as soloist.
Tickets are $18.00 for adults, and $10.00 for students/seniors. You may reserve tickets by calling Harold and Carla Birston at (604) 538-1460. Reserved tickets will be held at the door until 7:15 pm, the night of the concert, and you may pay for them at the door. Tickets will be available at Tapestry Music after Friday, March 21st.
We will forward the poster to you as soon as it is completed.
Thank you for your support.
Regards,
Harold Birston,
The Semiahmoo Strings
